... As I got up from the gutter, my body was in a mess.
I started searching for where to find water to clean the mess.
I noticed someone was doing some washings in a house around the bridge.
His phone rang. When he picked, I heard him say, "I would be out in a few minutes..."
On hearing this, I decided to wait for him to leave the house before bumping in.
The guy didn't leave until after about 30 minutes.
When he left, I entered the compound which was not fenced. Everyone had gone out.
I took my time as if it was my house though I was quite frightened.
I got a bucket, fetched water and washed my body.
When I noticed there was no one passing by the street, I checked the rope and pulled one of the shirts the guy washed.
It was a Red shirt. I wore it and bounced out of the compound feeling like a smart lad.
